About the Forest Park Alumni Association
The Forest Park Alumni Association was re-established in 1998 with a clear mission: to strengthen the bond between alumni, support current students, and preserve the proud legacy of Forest Park Senior High School.
Since its recreation, the Association has been committed to fostering togetherness, mentorship, and opportunity. What began as a renewed effort to reconnect alumni has grown into a sustained tradition of giving back—one that continues year after year.
A cornerstone of our work is our scholarship program, which provides meaningful financial support to graduating seniors. Each year, scholarship applicants participate in a comprehensive and competitive process designed to recognize not only academic achievement, but character, dedication, and potential. Applicants are required to submit a complete scholarship package that includes teacher and counselor recommendations, cumulative and yearly GPAs, and a thoughtfully written 1,000-word essay reflecting their goals, values, and aspirations.
Beyond scholarships, the Forest Park Alumni Association is deeply invested in helping students understand their place in the broader civic landscape. We proudly sponsor educational trips to Annapolis, Maryland and Washington, D.C., giving students firsthand exposure to state and federal government. These experiences are designed to inspire civic awareness, leadership, and an appreciation for public service.
At its heart, the Forest Park Alumni Association exists to connect generations—alumni, students, educators, and the community—through shared history and shared responsibility. Through scholarships, educational programs, and alumni engagement, we remain committed to ensuring that Forest Park students are supported today and empowered for the future.
